AWARE’s annual Overdose Awareness Day Candlelight Vigil brings the community together to remember and honor the lives lost to overdose, support the families and loved ones who carry their memory, and stand alongside those impacted by substance use. Through shared stories, the reading of names, and the lighting of candles, the evening creates a meaningful space for remembrance, hope, and connection. The vigil also serves as a reminder of the importance of prevention, reducing stigma, and ensuring that those who are struggling know that help is available.
